The Virtual e-Poster replaces the old printed paper e-Posters at medical congresses, using two platforms:

iEvents

What is iEvents?

It is an application that is downloaded directly from the Apple Store and through Android which allows the delegate to interact in real time with the organization of the congress, receiving in digital format all the necessary information which in turn allows the management of one´s own agenda, or to contact directly with sponsors, etc.

How does iEvents work?

After having received confirmation of registration to the Congress, the user can download an application for smartphones and directly access their information entering the user information and password provided by the technical secretariat. Before the Congress begins the user can update and prepare their own personal agenda with the scientific activities of their choice.

What if my terminal is not compatible?

For delegates whose terminal is not compatible with either Apple or Android, a Bluetooth server will be activated at the venue so Congress information can be received. All that is needed is to approach one of the Touch screen totems located in the Technical Secretariat and permit the interaction with your device.

Access control

What is it?

The control of attendees is essential to the planning of an event, this new technology based on radio frequency is a system that ensures the automatic identification of attendees.

How does it work?

While distributing the accreditation we can control the number of attendees whom shall be participating in the event. This accreditation contains a computer chip that stores all the necessary information of the attendee. When passing through the Room Access Control points, the attendee is identified using a system of radio waves which in turn sends the information gathered to a central server where it is stored.

What are the uses?

This system allows full control over the attendance and participation of the delegate to the congress and any area or point of interest where it is necessary to monitor or assess the impact of assistance, for example at accredited activities and thus guaranteeing the correct issue of (attendance/assistance...etc.) certificates.

The system features a welcome screen that can confirm the participation to the delegate that he/she has assisted correctly at accredited activities.

Digital signage

What does it consist of?

This system deals with signaling and informing participants through the use of screens. Also available are touch screens thanks to the integration of a PC´s, allowing users to interact using applications of the latest generation.

One of the applications available allows the sending of messages to mobile phones within a certain radius. This joins the use of QR (Quick Response) codes to download the information and the iEvents application.

RFID readers are strategically situated throughout the event so as to allow delegates to access their personal area (if they do not have a mobile phone or not if they do not want to use this application).

Thanks to the integration of the devices with our application iEvents, each participant just has to pass their accreditation card over the device to gain entry to their personal zone.

What are the uses?

The screens display the most relevant information of the Congress, with the added possibility to include advertising content and sponsored sections to the display.

Commercial trademarks can have screens placed exclusively in their stands, with an application that displays a multimedia content in line with the image of the Congress. In this case, the contents included in the displays would have to be provided by the sponsor.

What does it consist of?

We introduce the video information wall, the latest novelty in signage, advertising resources and technological tools applied to conferences, meetings and events.

The video information wall consists of a series of display panels placed prominently in front of a table. This replaces the typical and rudimentary poster with the image of the event that is traditionally placed at the foot of presidential tables which is difficult and costly to make changes to during the event.

The display panels of the video information wall are the latest in audio-visual technology. They are plasma and with extra fine edges which results in less than 4mm separation between one and another.

What are its uses?

The Video Information Wall is customised for each event. This is achieved by projecting images with elements of the conference image. The system is fully adjustable and adaptable.

An example for its uses in an event is at conferences with an extensive programme or with a high rotation of speakers or people who are sitting at the table where the Video Information Wall is placed.

The traditional system of the banner with the event image is a fix decorative element. Contrary to this, the Video Information Wall allows us to place different messages at every change of a speaker: names of the people sitting at the table and the title of the lecture, symposium or the conference theme.

All this, together with a powerful design made of the significant elements of the Conference image turns the Video Information Wall into a highly attractive feature for the attendees.

Being a flexible system it is also possible to include images or logos of sponsors of the event or of the lecture.
